Realizing Robotic systems that includes and handles deformable objects
My research interests include utilizing of deformable objects to robotic systems. Human utilize contact among rigid objects such as environment and deformable objects during handling tasks, for example, our fingertips contact with surface of fabrics when we unfold fabrics in air. In addition, several creatures utilize the potential energy of deformable components, for example, fleas jump using the restoring of the spring potential energy of their legs. We are going to apply these characteristics from engineered approaches.
